I took my daughter to get a happy meal from McDonalds on Monday. While I was there, the cashier asked me if I would like a free coffee. Turns out now until April, McDonalds has Free Coffee Mondays. They are giving away free small cups of their new premium roast coffee(its actually pretty tasty)...no purchase necessary.
Do you know of any other cool freebies? I know Baskin Robbins used to have a free icecream night when I was a kid...do they still have that?

I'd heard about the Free Coffee Mondays at McD's. Not sure about the Baskin Robbins free ice cream night but that sure would be nice if they still do it!
OK this isn't 100% free but close enough to it: You know the big movie theater chain Marcus Theatres? They have this thing going on called "Frosty Flicks" where every Saturday morning through mid-March they show kids' movies. Tickets (for any age) are $2.50 and you also get a free bag of popcorn. If you wanted to see the schedule, go to www.marcustheatres.com and click on "Frosty Flicks". It's a very popular thing so it also helps to purchase and print out the tickets ahead of time.

Next Wednesday April 30th, Baskin Robbins is having 31 cent scoop night! All ice cream is just 31 cents per scoop and all the proceeds go to help your local firefighters. Not free but a pretty good deal.
