Hi Harryette,
Thanks for the note back.
I worked almost 5 years for a pain management doctor. I'll still tell anyone, he was one of the best all-around docs I've ever known. Brilliant man, but a complete sociopathic nut case. I really loved the job, but he was extremely difficult to work for...in fact, nobody else would work for him except his wife--so I did almost everything for him. I served the basic purpose of a nurse--did extensive triage and medical histories, assisted with regional anesthesia procedures, etc. I typed up extensive, detailed reports for the auto insurance companies with little or no dictation. Also worked on some marketing projects. After the feds came and took him away for the last time, we had to close up the practice--He got in trouble over the medicare stuff they were beating the docs up so bad for, back 8-10 years ago. I could write a book about everything we went through with that ordeal....LOL! After that I worked almost 4 years for one of the nicest, nicest Indian doctors you could ever hope to meet. He's a physiatrist, specializing in auto accident cases. Hated the job--mountains of drudge paperwork, and nothing fun--no writing, no patient contact other than as receptionist. I finally reached a point that my brain wouldn't do it anymore.
So now, I sit at home trying to figure out a way to make this computer spit out dollar bills!! LOL! I've got a couple of projects in the works, but haven't seen any actual money yet..........So I just keep trying.
Have a great week!

Hi Harryette,
Wanted to say 'hello' to a fellow Floridian. I'm about 45 minutes north of Tampa.
Do you have a Winn Dixie near you? They have a lot of buy one/get one free sales, even in the meat department. Their meat used to be pretty awful, and I wouldn't buy it. However, they have really upgraded it in the past few years, and I'd say it's comparable now to Publix. Most of our meals are based on what I have bought on sale. Today, I'm fixing a bottom round roast--I got 2 nice 21/2 lb roasts for about $11--so at $5 and change for the meat, I'm making a real nice Sunday dinner to feed 6 people that include 5 adults! Can't beat it! I also shop Save-A-Lot for frozen veggies, dairy, and some other stuff. I can buy Klondike Rose or Klondike Gold potatoes for 2.69 --as opposed to potatoes at the other supermarkets, where you're lucky if you find them on sale for 4 bucks.
Hope you're having a great weekend!
