Linda, I just give her the plain canned pumpkin in her bowl. If she has a cold, I warm it up so she can smell it better. After she lost quite a bit of weight with her head cold, I put out three different kinds of food at a time to be sure she had SOMETHING she liked. It kept her from losing anymore weight, and now that she is better, she is actually gaining! And, Linda, I have NO idea why....or who thought of....canned pumpkin!!!!

I happened to notice you and your friend were talking about how to get a cat to eat. Believe it or not, plain, pure canned pumpkin appeals to many cats. Also, Fancy Feast Flaked tuna, a can of real Albacore tuna or pouring the tuna juice on their regular food, sometimes just warming up their food a little so that they can smell it better, Avoderm brand canned food, and sometimes a veterinarian will give them a shot of Vitamin B-12 to jump-shot their appetites. Hope this helps
