In this day and age, the economy is not doing well. People are pinching pennies and trying to make the best out of a dollar. Personally, I love to shop for clothes but funds is an issue. I love shopping at thrift stores, everything is cheap and they offer so many interesting items. Here in Chicago there are thrift stores that have 50% off Mondays, where every item in the store is half off. I once bought a pair of sunglasses that were $0.50. For those fashionable people out there, the thrift store is a perfect place to pick up threads that no one else will have. I enjoy mixing styles from the 80's with up-to-date fashions. Also for moms that have young children, I have some advice for you too. If your children tend to destroy their clothes from playing outside or even in the house, you can purchase play clothes at the thrift stores. Many t-shirts for children sell for less than a buck...
