I had a two inch pile of all types of cards from frequent buyer to movie rewards in the front of my purse. When I'd go to pull one out, I'd have to hunt through them all to hand it over to the cashier. Sometimes, I'd just forgo the card hunt and pay the full price. Not a pretty picture I know, but when you're short on time and have two kids that can't seem to stand in line for more than a few seconds, this happens.
Oh I had a worn down pink dilapidated c
oupon organizer with a broken snap and the index cards were torn and worn down. It served it's purpose, but was big and bulky. However, few weeks ago, a mom inventor sent me her new product to try out. When I first heard the name,
Card Cubby, I had no clue what it was or what it could do. Oh I checked out the website and looked it over, but it wasn't until I had it in my hot little hands that I realized the significance of it's value. It's a 3 x 5 mini-card file with alphabetical index cards to help organize the growing number of cards consumers are required to carry around to save a buck. Within minutes, I had that two inch pile whittled down to nothing and organized in my pink Card Cubby making it a cinch to find the right card. I also use it to hold my gift cards, which I frequently forget at home and my coupons.
Now the Card Cubby might not be your cup a tea, but it's saving me time and money and I thought others might like it as well.
What do you do to organize your coupons and discount cards?
